A Space Exodus (2009) depicts a female Palestinian astronaut travelling to outer space in order to claim land for her nation. Nation Estate (2012) explores a vertical solution to Palestinian’s diminishing claim to land – a state within a skyscraper. In the Future, They Ate From the Finest Porcelain (2016) features a narrative resistance group burying elaborate porcelain to influence history and support future claims to their vanishing lands. The trilogy offers alternatives to stereotypical representations of occupied Palestinian landscapes are reinterpreted through fictional, mythological, and fantasy-based counter narratives.
