AMBEREEN SIDDIQUI
CuratorAmbereen Siddiqui is a curator and artist with an interest in contemporary South Asian art. She received her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, her B.Ed from York University and her BA from the joint Art and Art History program at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College. She has a long-standing relationship with SAVAC, having served as Education and Outreach Officer as well as Interim Executive Director. Her work has been supported by the Ontario Arts Council through grants including the Media Arts Grant, the Chalmer’s Arts Fellowship and the grant for Culturally Diverse Curatorial Projects, making this particular project with The Robert McLaughlin Gallery and SAVAC possible.
