Every year, we have the pleasure of adding new board members from the SAVAC community to our organization. Come exercise your right to guide the future of SAVAC! Board members are responsible for the operation of SAVAC in accordance with our constitution, mandate and established policies. In most cases, the board will be assisted in these responsibilities by staff. No prior board experience necessary. Some volunteer experience with SAVAC is beneficial, but not required. All interested candidates must complete the SAVAC Board Application Form and submit their completed application form by Tuesday 18 February 2020.
Elections will occur at the Annual General Meeting on Monday 24 February 2020 from 6:30pm – 7:30pm, at 401 Richmond St. (Suite 450) Toronto. Candidates must attend the AGM. Please be prepared to introduce yourself to the AGM attendees, and to describe the ways in which you would be a good candidate for the SAVAC Board.
