Central- Nerve is a cross-cultural performance art event, with ongoing performace thoughtout the day and evening. Atif Siddiqi, Lauise Liliefeldt, Nena Arora, Karma Clarke- Davis and Nisha Kumar simultaneously create a series of ongoing performance art installations which locate the body as a site for art-making practice and discussion.

Through varied styles and mediums, the artists explore themes of ritual, boundaries and exile. While also developing the intersections of three ideas embodied within the process of performance and installation art.

This project was developed to create a forum for contemporary South Asian performance artists, and to expand links with the larger performance art communities within Toronto and Montreal.
