The SAVAC Archives serve as a digital repository for documentation about the organization’s programming history.

Our archival holdings have served academics, scholars and art writers from around the world interested in the history and politics of SAVAC and Desh Pardesh. As a longstanding artist-run centre with challenging, experimental programming that comprises a range of objects, conditions and issues, the SAVAC Archives encourage fresh approaches to the production of knowledge about diaspora, racialization, political activism and contemporary arts in Canada, among other topics. The digital archive will be completed and fully launched in Fall 2023 – it will include digital exhibitions for all past programming along with a comprehensive guide to our archival holdings. For now, explore programming from 2015-present. To learn more, visit our new research centre at The Commons @ 401 Richmond.
