You are invited to SAVAC’s 2021 Annual General Meeting. Meet staff, board members and learn more about what we are planning for 2021. Every year the board is elected at the Annual General Meeting, which is open to all SAVAC members.
Board members are responsible for the operation of SAVAC in accordance with our constitution, mandate and established policies. In most cases, the board will be assisted in these responsibilities by staff. No prior board experience necessary. Some volunteer experience with SAVAC is beneficial, but not required. All interested candidates must complete the SAVAC Board Nomination Form. They must be nominated and seconded by members in good standing. Interested candidates must submit their completed nomination form by Thursday 18 February 2021.
Elections will occur at the Annual General Meeting on Monday 22 February 2021 at 4pm over Zoom. Candidates must attend the AGM. Please be prepared to introduce yourself to the AGM attendees, and to describe the ways in which you would be a good candidate for the SAVAC Board.
