Open Study

18 April 2016
401 Richmond St. W SAVAC office (4th floor)

We’re opening our office for a drop-in open study session, for the following activities:

  • Looking at our library: Our library consists of about 100 books and periodicals, focusing on titles about South Asian and diasporic artists.
  • Perusing our archives: We keep records, clippings, photos and electronic materials from over a decade of programming. You can look through these materials out of mere curiosity, or you can apply to our open call for KAPSULA Magazine’s special issue, “Spaceless Place”. We can help with that.
  • Working on Wikipedia articles about artists of colour: Following our workshop “Artists of colour” does not exist, this session is an opportunity for participants to continue working on draft articles, or to start working on something new.
  • Bring your work, and work here: Sometimes you just want to work in a subdued work environment with others who are doing the same thing.

If you want to come, or if you have any questions, contact Aliya Pabani at aliya@savac.net
