Artist Talk by Shashikant Thavudoz

Hyderabad-based artist, Shashikant Thavudoz, recipient of the Darling Foundry’s annual “India/Montreal Residency”, will give an artist talk in Montreal about his drawing and installation-based practice in December 2016. SAVAC will co-present the talk to offer him the opportunity to create and network through this Canadian residency program. It will allow his site-specific explorations to move beyond his local context and into a new historical, cultural, and social-political landscapes.
