Become a Member
Become a member electronically, by mail or drop by the SAVAC office to become a member in person.
Annual memberships are:
- $30 CAD / year, artist members*
- $50 CAD / year, supporting members.

According to the International Association of Artists, a professional artist is any one or more of the following.

Earns a living through art making;

Possesses a diploma in an area considered to be within the domain of fine arts

Teaches art in a school of art or applied art;

Whose work is often seen by the public or is frequently or regularly exhibited;

Is recognized as an artist by the consensus of opinion among other professional artists.

To become a SAVAC member, please download the Membership form, and mail in the completed form along with your membership fee ($30 for artists and $50 for supporters, annually).

Please do not send cash in the mail.
In-person membership
Drop by the SAVAC office at Richmond and Spadina in Toronto, and fill out a form. Pay by cash or cheque. Please note we cannot process card payments in the SAVAC office.
